Kenny Chesney is an American country music artist who began his career in 1004 with the release of his debut album In My Wildest Dreams. Over the years, Chesney has become one of country's most successful artists, selling over thirty million albums worldwide, with fourteen of his twenty studio albums achieving gold certification or higher by the RIAA. Chesney has also done well in the charts, having charted more than forty top ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including twenty nine number ones. He has been the recipient of several awards throughout his career, including six Academy of Country Music awards (including four consecutive Entertainer of the Year awards from 2005 to 2008) and six awards from the Country Music Association, among others.
