As Foreigner continues its remaining shows for the Historical Farewell Tour, they're joining forces with Styx for a massive "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes tour. Over a decade since they last teamed up, the co-headlining tour slated for 2024 is bound to mark history. It's a legendary night you just can't miss. Rockin' summer nights are coming your way.
The "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes" tour are bringing out the bands' greatest and best legendary hits back to the stage. Side-by-side, they're throwing this summer's biggest throwback bash. Produced by Live Nation, they're rockin' major cities in North America. Foreigner and Styx are also welcoming a special guest, British rock icon John Waite, the hitmaker behind international hits "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile".
"We’re very excited to be sharing the concert stage with Foreigner and John Waite in the summer of 2024," Styx guitarist James Young shared. "We have previously toured with Foreigner and the result was both bands kicked ass and had a great time doing it."
Currently on the road, Foreigner is traveling around the world, staging their Historical Farewell Tour. Capping off decades off touring, they promise to serve the same energy as it were their first. Rockin' it out like it's the late '70s, they're celebrating the milestone with their legendary friends who make up Styx.
"As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans," Mick Jones of Foreigner shared. "To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better."
It might be the end of the road for Foreigner, but their hits will definitely continue to live on. "We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances," Jones shared in a statement about their farewell trek, via Live Nation. "While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere."
Both bands are highly regarded as legendary bands from back in the day. Foreigner's roster of hits include "Urgent", "Cold As Ice", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", and "I Want To Know What Love Is". On the other hand, Styx has also produced some of the day's hottest rock tracks including "Come Sail Away", "Mr. Roboto", and "Babe".
