Sure sure - technically home is here in Florida for us and the band boys, but we think that you think that the iTHINK Amphitheatre can let it slide for the time being. That’s ‘cause we’re PUMPED to keep the summer energy going when this next motley crew of music freaks takes the stage. We’re talking about opening night energy, first-show chaos, that energy and funk in the air when a tour is on night one and every song feels like the boys are finally back on the road. Yea folks - on Friday, July 17th, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Loverboy are rolling straight into our backyard to launch their 2026 run, and trust us… if you’re here for this one, you’re getting the bragging rights forever. This is the FIRST crowd they’ll see all summer long - so it truly is a once in a lifetime event to be the FIRST ones to scream all the lyrics to Free Bird. And after they throw down in West Palm? The tour heads through Tampa, Tinley Park, Toronto, Holmdel, Alpharetta, Charlotte, Dallas, Camden, Detroit, Cincinnati, and so many more massive cities that love to jam… but at the end of the day, all starts right here. And ThAT folks is worth celebrating.

Lynyrd Skynyrd stepping into a brand-new tour cycle is a moment in itself, so let’s just pause for a moment to be thankful for that. One of the most influential rock bands of all time, their story is woven into the bones of American rock core: and we’re just happy to see them all back and playing again like old times. Formed in Jacksonville in the 1960s, the band grew from local legends to international icons because of their ultra loud sets you could hear from across the city, the gritty Southern storytelling, and the kind of anthems that has soundtracked all our road trips, dos-e-do bar nights, tailgates, cookouts, heartbreaks, and victories. “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Tuesday’s Gone,” “Simple Man” - these songs all mean something to us, mainly drunk nights and memories with our besties who will be next to us when it all goes down. And through it all - Skynyrd has stayed true to their roots every step of the way, always giving us the real them, just like they’ll do on Friday the 17th from when they play the first tune.
